About the event

Experimental Holmfirth cellist Louie Barby, better known as Slow Cooked, will present his new audio-visual composition, 'The Drowned Giant'. Adapted from the J G Ballard story of the same name, the piece explores ideas of identity and empathy in a world troubled with climate anxiety.

Collaborating with French visual artist, Jade Halloin, Louie explores sound, words and visual imagery to create an immersive experience that challenges ideas of our separation from nature.
